Working conditions & ethics
Production of natural stone and granite is a craft which requires a lot of manual work. A big part of the production is with workers from China and Portugal with inadequate working conditions. For us both the quality of our products and the working conditions are important, to guarantee that we start our own fully owned factory in Izmir, Turkey. There we produce and manage the factory according to Swedish standards with high working conditions which results in high quality products. We are also 3rd party certified with a number of certificates including Sedex, ISO 9001, ISO 26000 and Ohsas 18001. We can always promise that we will produce stone of the highest quality and think of both the environment and the working conditions during the production process. We manage the whole production chain from quarry to finished product.

Environment
We are constantly working and improving our sustainability in our factory. All our machines are powered with electricity and since January 2021 are powered solely by wind and solar power. Production of natural stone also requires a huge amount of water. We have therefore created a closed water system so that we are able to reuse and store all our water in the production process. We also mainly ship all our stone by boat to the closest ports to reduce the CO2 even further, meaning our production reduces the footprint on the environment drastically compared to other manufacturers

For us the social responsibility is a top priority with good working conditions and modern systems. Active work with the local and international code of conduct, community and social engagement are among other areas ISO 26000 focus on.

Standard establishes an environmental standard and a systematic work in minimizing and reducing waste emission.

Certificate for that the organization management systems shows a good standard. ISO 9001 shows and contributes to a more efficent organization & buisness development both for customers and employees.
